Judge Brodsky was appointed to the Boulder County Court bench in 2015. Prior to her appointment to the County Court bench, Judge Brodsky served on the Boulder District Court bench as a magistrate from 2011 to 2015. Judge Brodsky earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Colorado. Before joining the bench, Judge Brodsky served as the managing attorney of Boulder County Legal Services, providing thousands of the most vulnerable people in our community with free legal services in a wide variety of civil matters. She volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children for over a decade and subsequently worked as a court-appointed legal representative for abused and neglected children. Judge Brodsky is passionate about improving access to justice for the most vulnerable members of our community. She serves on committees, develops educational and training materials for the legal community and the general public, volunteers with nonprofits and creates programs to provide free legal advice and services to Boulder County residents. In 2010, Judge Brodsky was presented with the John Marshall Award for Public Service, the Boulder County Bar Association’s highest award for outstanding community service by an attorney for at-risk members of our county.
