Judge Styduhar grew up in Pueblo, Colorado.
He graduated from Central High School in 1992 and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University-Pueblo). He attended Creighton University School of Law, where he obtained his law degree.
Prior to his appointment to the District Court bench in February 2020, Judge Styduhar served as a Magistrate in the Tenth Judicial District. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, holding positions as an associate attorney with Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C., an assistant city attorney with the City of Pueblo, and county attorney for Pueblo County.
He was appointed as Chief Judge in May 2023.
Judge Styduhar and his wife have four children.
