Jeffrey R. Wilson

Judge Wilson, who resides in Durango, Colorado, was appointed as District Judge for the 6th Judicial District in July, 2002. He earned his juris doctorate from the University of Iowa.

Prior to his appointment to the District bench, he was in private practice for 12 years and was the founding partner of the law firm of Wilson & Crawford. Prior to private practice, Judge Wilson served as an assistant district attorney in the 22nd Judicial District from 1989-1990, the 6th Judicial District from 1984-1989, and the 4th Judicial District from 1981-1983. Judge Wilson is the former vice president of the Fourt Corners Bar Association.
