Provides technical support to the Human Resources Division of the Colorado Judicial Branch.
The Human Resources Analyst I position is distinguished from other analyst positions due to the direct reporting relationship to the Director of Human Resources and technical human resource awareness required. This classification is distinguished from the Human Resources Analyst II and III position due to the primary focus on the maintenance of Human Resource policies rather than the initiation of policies.
Interacts with District Administrators, Chief Probation Officer, employees, and applicants in order to communicate Human Resources' policies and procedures.
Provides input and prepares information for releases related to Human Resource policies and procedures.
Provides training and participates in training administration activities.
Researches and provides preliminary information on topics related to human resources for further development and recommendation.
Coordinates research findings within the division for further review and recommendation.
Responsibilities may include: Benefit and payroll programs; Recruiting and hiring initiatives; Employee recognition and incentive programs; or Managing the Human Resources web site.
Attends meetings and training as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibility. Responsibility for one's own work product and work within a unit performing similar functions. Occasionally provides lead function, advice, and explains work instructions to other employees or volunteers.
Graduation from a college or university with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public or court administration is required and one year of human resources, payroll or related experience.
OR
Graduation from high school or equivalent with three years of experience in a Human Resources office.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms and perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
This position is subject to many interruptions and may be required to handle multiple calls and inquiries at once. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
